A leader is one who leads the team and guides the way towards achieving goals and attaining destiny, by the words of inspiration. We have many languages around us whose basics purpose is to express the feelings and establish a communication between the individuals or groups. In a similar way language of leadership is the medium by which a leader communicates with its team or sub-ordinates, the language by which the leadership is served.
The desired goals and targets are achieved with a good language of leadership. I would rather call it precisely as inspiring language of leadership. We are currently in a very challenging situation and at the same time working or executing the things remotely. In this time of uncertainty, along with inspiration, the language of leadership should comprise of emotional intelligence. The leader should sense the situation teammates are going through. With this, he/she can connect properly and trigger the motivation well within the them. The language of leadership should energise the teammates through words, words should depict the end-results to be more realistic and achievable. A leader should craft and articulate the message in such a way that it is highly motivational and full of optimism. From organisational perspective, he/she should articulate the organisation's mission and communicate it in ways that inspires and develop the sense of belonging. The leader should not only detect the opportunities in the environment but describe them in ways that maximise their significance.
Such a language of leadership will preach subordinates the importance of half-filled glass over half-empty, and it will represent the true leadership qualities. Along with precise use of words of motivation, the faith and confidence in team ensures that the desired fruits are reaped. Hence the language of leadership should be learnt and acquired for optimum results.
